Lee Ann Jaffee - Stribling & Associates

Whether I am working with sellers or buyers, it's all about meeting their needs in the process and their goals in the end, making each transaction smooth and delivering value.

Intelligent, sincere, detailed and dedicated - these are the words her customers use to describe Lee Ann. She gives each of them, large or small, her full attention. A third-degree black belt in Taekwondo, she knows about dedication, discipline and commitment to pursuing goals regardless of adversity. Her "never quit" attitude and strong negotiating skills work to the advantage of both buyers and sellers.

Lee Ann feels that the most important thing when working with buyers and sellers is to listen and really understand their needs. It is also essential to give them as much information as possible so that they can make informed decisions about one of their most valuable assets; their home. Communication is what she does best. If you are a buyer, Lee Ann listens carefully to your needs, understands what you are looking for and helps you find the perfect home. If you are a seller, her background helps market your home in the most visually effective way, utilizing effects such as staging, which has consistently brought the highest prices to her sellers.

Lee Ann comes to New York real estate from the worlds of architecture, art, design and business. She headed a successful graphic design firm that later developed into a creative, high-end greeting card company. She has had extensive experience in the renovation and restoration of co-ops, lofts and townhouses. Her expertise enables her to communicate effectively with staging companies to best market your property or your architect, interior designer and contractor once you are contemplating or deciding to go forward with purchasing a property. She is particularly knowledgeable about townhouses, having lived in a Gramercy Park townhouse since 1991.

Along with her partner, Steve Sumser, Lee Ann has represented many buyers and sellers throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Both Lee Ann and Steve are very experienced, distinctly qualified brokers and are known to bring the highest yields for their sellers and the lowest prices for their buyers. All their clients agree that together Lee Ann and Steve are known for consistently delivering the utmost in personalized customer service and making each transaction flow smoothly. Lee Ann is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis.

My Approach

"I don't "manage" my clients; I work with them. I listen and provide as much information as possible to help them make informed decisions about their property."

The decision to sell the loft I had called home for more than 35 years was fraught with emotion and anxiety. Thank God for Lee Ann. Not only was she skilled and knowledgeable in every nuance of the real estate business, but she was calm, reassuring, and held my hand through the entire process of both selling and buying something new. I could not imagine what it would have been like without her. I will recommend her to EVERYONE that I know. She is simply the best.

-Phyllis Famiglietti

“We interviewed 5 other agents from different firms and chose to work Steven and Lee Ann. They were very, very good through this whole process…which was actually not an easy process. A lot could have gone wrong and our relationship could have become a problem, but it didn’t. Quite the contrary. It is rare that anyone likes their brokers as much or more at the end of a transaction than at the beginning—but with the two of them that was the case. We will recommend them to our friends without reservations.” –Anonymous Seller
