Las Arenas is a nine bedroom 'ante bellum' house situated within the Punta Cana Resort and Golf Club, in the Province of Altagravia on the Eastern coast of the Dominican Republic. It is only several minutes from the international Punta Cana Airport, which has over 40 flights a day from all over the world.The 1,200 m property was completed in 2009 and is set in a 6,000 m plot. The accommodation comprises nine double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, all with separate showers and baths, double sinks and heated towel rails. The bedrooms are all air conditioned and have wooden ceiling fans, as well as private terraces or balconies.The reception room is 35 foot x 22 foot wide, with an 18 foot high ceiling, and the room is equipped with bridge and backgammon tables. Furthermore, there is a television room/library with a home cinema, a wide screen TV with Sky, over 700 books and wireless internet.The GroundsThe garden features a 30 foot swimming pool, two outdoor showers, a croquet lawn, plus verandas on both sides of the house for sitting out of the sun. The outdoor covered dining area can seat 22 people and there are bars on the ground and first floors. Local Amenities Within a 15 minute drive there are four championship golf courses (one of which is located at the end of the garden). A two minute walk from the house leads to 5 km of unspoilt beaches. There is a water sports area further down the beach, and boats can be hired from the marina for deep sea fishing. An international renowned spa Six Senses is literally on your door step.Aside from meals at the house there are four wonderful restaurants in the complex, all reachable by golf buggy. The house provides three golf buggies and more can be rented from.ServicesThe house is managed by Sra Zenaida Reuda (who speaks French, English and Spanish) and she will organise your collection from and to the airport.There are seven staff, who include two gardeners, a cook, laundress, butler, driver and maid. All meals are included in the rental (though please note alcohol is not included). Prices For Sale: $6,600,000 STC (to include contents) For Rental: $3,500 per day. Only the main house five bedrooms may be used. If accommodation for an infant and nanny, maid or valet is required, they can be housed in the children's wing at addition charge of $200 per day, per room, with food included.
