Elizabeth F. Stribling Chairman
For more than 30 years, founder and Chairman Elizabeth F. Stribling has remained actively involved in all aspects of the business, from choosing the brightest managers and agents to guiding and nurturing professionals at all levels. Her dedication and devotion ensures that the firm continues to serve as the industry standard bearer.
Elizabeth Stribling began her distinguished real estate career in 1967. In 1980, she established Stribling & Associates, Ltd., and in 1999 she founded Stribling Marketing Associates. She is a graduate of Vassar College and did graduate work at Girton College, Cambridge University, England, with studies in English Literature.
Recognized in the New York community as a leading expert in luxury residential sales and new development, Elizabeth Stribling is also highly regarded as a knowledgeable business and civic leader. She is on the Board of Governors of the Real Estate Board of New York, the Executive Board of the New York Landmarks Conservancy, and the Board of the Women's Committee of the Central Park Conservancy. She is also the Chairman of the French Heritage Society.
Elizabeth Stribling is the recipient of many awards, including the Henry Forster Award for outstanding achievement and conduct within the residential brokerage profession of New York City; the Spirit of Achievement Award at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, National Women's Division, New York Chapter; and the Women of Achievement Award from the American Cancer Society. She has been named Corporate Honoree at the Winter Ball of the Junior League of New York and Corporate Honoree at the French Consulate in support of the Morris-Jumel Mansion, as well as being decorated as an Officer of the National Order of Merit and an Officer of the Legion d’Honneur by the Government of France. Elizabeth Ann Stribling-Kivlan President
As President, Elizabeth Ann Stribling-Kivlan works closely with her mother, founder Elizabeth F. Stribling, overseeing the daily activities of the firm. After two years as an assistant to a top producer at Pacific Union GMAC in San Francisco, Elizabeth joined Stribling in 2003 as a salesperson, where she immediately knew she had found her calling. A graduate of the Chapin School and College of the Holy Cross with a BA in world religions, Elizabeth shares her mother’s commitment to philanthropy: she serves on the national leadership council of GLSEN, and was formerly Vice Chair of the board of the New York City Anti-Violence Project. Kirk Henckels Vice Chairman, Director of Stribling Private Brokerage
Kirk Henckels, Vice Chairman and Director of Stribling Private Brokerage, brings a strong background in finance and real estate to his leadership position. A former corporate banker with an MBA from Harvard Business School, Kirk helped launch the Private Brokerage division in 1995 and represents some of the country’s most prominent families. His comprehensive approach can be credited to his business acumen and decades of experience in ultra-luxury real estate. Rebecca M. Mason EVP, Director of Sales, Chelsea and Tribeca Offices
Knowledgeable in all facets of the real estate industry, Rebecca Mason is Stribling’s Executive Vice President and Director of Sales in Stribling’s two downtown offices in Chelsea and Tribeca. Rebecca joined Stribling after an 18-year tenure with a residential management and brokerage firm, where she managed an array of activities related to construction, negotiation, commercial leasing, rental leasing, residential sales, and portfolio management. She is active in the real estate community through her participation in the Real Estate Board of New York and the Association of Real Estate Women, where she is on the board of directors as Past President. With 25 years of experience in residential real estate and new property marketing and sales, Steven Rutter has served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Stribling Marketing Associates since joining the firm in 2006. Christopher P. Wilson EVP, Chief Operating Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Christopher P. Wilson has his finger on the pulse of the firm, overseeing day-to-day operations at Stribling’s four New York offices. Well-versed in a wide range of real estate-related categories, he brings a diverse background in design, sales, and new project marketing to his leadership position. Chris first joined Stribling as an associate broker in 1989. After earning a master’s degree from New York University and spending two years working for the Related Companies, Chris returned to Stribling to manage its Chelsea office. He later opened the firm’s Tribeca office and became the first director of Stribling Marketing Associates. Catherine Witherwax is Stribling’s Executive Vice President and Director of Sales for Brooklyn. She brings to Stribling over a decade of sales in Brooklyn and Manhattan, experience as a manager, at both a global financial institution and a leading New York real estate firm, and a passion for her native borough.
