Experience

Susan Song has been working in real estate for over 18 years and specializes in luxury condominium residences and investment properties. She was one of the three original salespeople representing the sponsor at the legendary Plaza Hotel condominium conversion. The Plaza Private Residences and Plaza Hotel pied-à-terres achieved some of the highest sales prices in the history of New York City real estate.

Susan is known to her clients and customers for her impeccable service.

For buyers, Susan finds the perfect property by advising on general market conditions, negotiating the best possible price and helping to find the necessary advisors in both legal and financial matters. She is able to visualize her buyers’ dream homes and tailors her searches to increase efficiency and effectiveness, saving both time and bother. In addition, she can help with insurance brokers, decorators, contractors and movers to make the transaction as smooth and pleasant as possible. Susan also rents and manages investment properties for foreign/absentee owners.

In short, no detail, however minor it may seem, is overlooked.

For sellers, Susan advises on pricing; her insights into the market and refined negotiating style are then used to maximize her sellers’ returns. Of equal importance, she shows her exclusive properties in the best possible light, from staging to marketing and advertising. After a successful negotiation has been concluded, Susan works with the co-brokers on the board package and is in close touch with the managing agent to ensure that the process is kept on track.

Susan is available and fully committed up until a successful closing occurs and often well after the closing.

Susan came to New York from Seoul, Korea to pursue her education at the Parsons School of Design and lived on the Upper West Side with her sister, who studied piano at the Juilliard School. It was natural for her to fall in love with New York's rich cultural and architectural scene. Her knowledge of art and design is helpful when advising a client on choosing the ideal property or showing one of her exclusive properties.
