Shelton P. Smith - Stribling & Associates

If you take the time to research and understand what your client is looking for, it's so satisfying when you find the perfect place for them and experience their "aha" moment.

Experience

Shelton Smith is a certified New Yorker with Southern roots. She is energetic and enthusiastic and, at the same time, maintains a relaxed approach to life and work. She grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, and has lived in New York for more than a decade. An owner of a co-op in Greenwich Village, Shelton is comfortable working with buyers and sellers both uptown and downtown.

Shelton combines a "good eye" with good judgment. She has a natural capacity to listen and learn and loves meeting new people, seeing new places and experiencing New York to its fullest. A natural people person, Shelton's customers find her approachable, trustworthy and a joy to work with.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Shelton spent several years in Charlotte working both in real estate and in community relations. She then moved to New York to pursue a career as a commercial actress. Specializing in voiceovers and print, Shelton has been the "sleep-deprived mother" on the cover of Newsweek as well as the voice of the New York Times weekend edition.

Shelton spends her free time focusing on friends and family, contemporary art and travel. She shares her love of cooking, food and wine through classes, entertaining and enjoying the New York culinary scene. Shelton remains active with several charities and nonprofit organizations in Manhattan.

My Approach
