2015 Real Estate Board of New York, Deal of the Year Winner, 1st Place Residential Sales
2016 Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate/www.LuxuryRealEstate.com, Outstanding Rookie Nominee
Ross is passionate about the New York real estate market. He thrives on keeping up to date on market trends locally and globally, which he proactively shares with everyone through his periodic "Big Apple Bites" newsletter. This detailed knowledge of the market and memory for details help him provide you the support and insight you'll need to find the ideal home and strike the best deal. Recognizing this ability, in October 2015 the Real Estate Board of New York awarded Ross their 2015 Deal of the Year award (1st Place, Residential Sales), when they honored 15 of New York City's outstanding residential dealmakers at their charity and awards gala. Each year, REBNY's Residential Board of Directors combs through countless nominations to select the most impressive deals amongst the city's resales, new development sales, and rental transactions. Winners of this award show creativity and ingenuity in overcoming unique obstacles to make a successful transaction.
An experienced negotiator with a solid background in finance, Ross is just as focused on the personal side of any real estate transaction. After graduating from Wesleyan and Fordham Universities with his B.A. and M.A., respectively, Ross worked at a number of major financial institutions in increasingly responsible roles. But eventually he had to give in to the calling of a career in real estate, moving to Stribling & Associates a few years ago. His strong financial knowledge and negotiating experience now stand him in good stead to help you through your transaction.
Recognizing that buying or selling an apartment is a major decision for all of us, Ross aims to help you through the process in a collaborative and communicative partnership, listening to your needs and working on your schedule. A long term New York transplant and the owner of an apartment in Chelsea, he's keenly aware of the effort and the often-involved process that goes into buying or selling your property. But then, he's equally aware of just what a great city New York is, and the pleasures of living here. Ross is highly dedicated, proactive, reliable and organized, and focused on providing you an honest sounding board and steady guide as you buy, sell or rent in New York City.
Ross is an active art enthusiast and a board member of Participant Gallery, a non-profit art space in the Lower East Side. He's also a member of MIT's Enterprise Forum, a keen skier and an avid dog walker (though that's more at the urging of his Cairn Terrier, Chief).
"My preferred approach is to partner with you to understand your needs, help you through the process by providing as much time and information that you might require, and provide an honest and independent sounding board when you need one. I recognize that buying and selling a home is both a major investment and an emotional commitment, involving many deeply personal considerations. By working together closely I'm here to make this as smooth and painless a process as possible, and to help you make decisions you'll be happy with in the long term. "
Ross is simply the best. He is the most motivated and dedicated individual you can ever encounter. Bright and friendly, he works very hard for his clients and always puts out the maximum effort possible to research and identify the best property available for their unique requirements and achieve a successful closing. He is the sine qua non in real estate and we absolutely give him our highest recommendation. Beyond compare.

Ross Evangelista helped us secure an apartment for our move to Manhattan from Santa Fe, NM. As people with no experience in renting in New York, we were able to rely on Ross for all of the forms and approvals necessary to rent. He assisted us with an appraisal of what we expected in tandem with what we could afford, walked us through prospective apartments using face-time as we were not in town, and coordinated holding an apartment for us once we felt comfortable with a selection. Ross then worked with us to secure landlord and board approval. Through it all we had step by step advice which made for a seamless move to the city.We love our apartment and feel that Ross was instrumental in our having a great place to live in New York. We highly recommend his services.
It was a pleasure meeting you. You are a friendly and extremely competent real estate agent; your clients are lucky to have you.
Ross was incredibly attentive and most importantly honest and genuine about my interest to find a home. It is rare to find a trustworthy agent, but on top of that Ross was incredibly kind and a genuinely happy person! It was a pleasure working together!
Ross is professional, diligent, and service-oriented. His tremendous patience and team-oriented attitude was essential for helping us complete our co-op transaction, which was lengthy and complicated. Ross’ level-headed guidance, excellent network of contacts, and deep knowledge of the New York market were invaluable. Most importantly, he showed integrity and dedication throughout the entire process. I highly recommend him.
Ross was great to work with and certainly provided a proactive service, with a smile. Ross made the process easier by allowing us to leverage off his knowledge and went out of his way to help provide insights in to the process and property.
We live in Singapore and thus we had a short time in NYC to view apartments. After the first day Ross reviewed what we like and didn't like and found more suitable apartments to view for the following day. We continued to search for an apartment once back in Singapore - via the internet, and with Ross's help and input we finally managed to purchase an apartment. Ross reverted back with answers to all our questions, took photos for us, plus provided us with relevant information of the area, apartment condition etc, which was certainly important as were unaware of certain property matters being a first time buyer in NYC.
In summary Ross was very helpful and responsive and made the experience of buying an apartment in NYC a success story, we couldn't have done it without him, thank you Ross.
