I enjoy utilizing skills from my years in private banking and investing that experience on behalf of my clients at Stribling. I understand discretion & the finance of real estate.
Experience
Richard brings to Stribling over 25 years of professional experience building successful long-term client relationships with tact, personal responsibility and discretion. An active listener, he is creative and analytical in structuring solutions to client needs, with a keen awareness of detail and time sensitivity.
For twenty years of his career, Richard was a Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at the Bank of New York (BNY Mellon), where he presented a comprehensive range of sophisticated wealth management services designed exclusively for select clients of the 63rd and 73rd Street/Madison Avenue Private Banking offices. Credit trained at the Bank, he has practical knowledge of all facets of residential real estate finance, having put together custom-designed and traditional packages for co-operative, condominium and townhouse purchases.
Passionate about food and wine, Richard obtained a culinary diploma from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and interned in the kitchen and wine boutique of the celebrated Taillevent Restaurant. He has an advanced level accreditation with distinction from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust in London, and has subsequently advised clients at Sherry-Lehmann and WineCare Storage in New York and at Amagansett Wine & Spirits.
Clearly well-versed in a variety of luxury markets, Richard is a native of the South and has enjoyed living his adult life as a resident of Manhattan's Upper East Side. He served for twelve years on a co-op board as Treasurer and then President and is intimately familiar with the board approval process.
As demonstrated in his specialized endeavors, Richard thrives on conscientiously working with integrity for a loyal and dedicated clientele.
