Testimonials

"This may come across as hyperbole, but it's the truth: without Laurie, my wife and I would not have survived our move from Washington, DC to New York. Not only did she help us safely navigate the shark infested waters that is the New York real estate market, Laurie continually acted as our much-needed advocate when dealing with brokers, developers, the bank, and so on. And even better, as a lifetime New Yorker, Laurie brought an invaluable degree of insight into every neighborhood and Borough that really helped us choose the perfect place. And perhaps most importantly, she's a ton of fun to be around on those grueling days of house hunting! Simply put: every New Yorker will tell you they've got "the best broker"—but if it isn't Laurie, don't bother." D.P.

"We recently helped our 25-year old daughter purchase her first apartment in Manhattan. At various times, it seemed the deal would fall through: why didn’t the lawyer get the Power of Attorney done in advance? Why didn’t the mortgage company anticipate that we couldn’t sign papers when we were away, with no access to scanners and printers? Through it all, Laurie remained calm and guided us through the process of NYC real estate. This wasn’t our first real estate deal, but it was the first one in Manhattan, and all of the rules and customs are different. Thank you to Laurie for being the voice of reason, through the insanity that is this process." Bill and Barb
