Jason Lanyard, with over 10 years in the business, is in a class of his own. Working exclusively with partner Nicole Grandelli from the moment they met in early 2008, Lanyard and Grandelli have redefined luxury residential brokerage by reclaiming the role of expert investment advisor and marketing strategist to their A-list clients throughout the city and the globe.

When I met Jason and Nicole, we had already listed the property for a few months with the #2 broker at Corcoran who sold a handful of large uptown coop apartments each week and had promised us the world - both in selling price and in attention to our listing. What we got was lack of focus, poor feedback, and excuses for her inability to get bids.

Jason and Nicole came in and their energy and attention to detail was just what the doctor ordered. When the buyers told them the space was not configured to their liking, Jason and Nicole provided architectural renderings to show them what it could look like. When the buyers told them the price was too high, they were shown detailed stats of selling comps to reinforce our pricing. On the creative side Nicole insisted on having the apartment repainted which helped generate interest. On the deal making side Jason made sure the buyers were qualified and would pass our coop board. He got to know our board and building in a way that no broker I have worked with has ever bothered to do.

Jason and Nicole were relentless, extremely aggressive, and they really gave us comfort knowing that the deal was in capable hands. With the first broker we never got a single bid. With Jason and Nicole we got multiple bids, but did not settle until we got the right price. We worked with Jason Lanyard and Nicole Grandelli to buy two apartments in Manhattan.
