Prior to joining Stribling & Associates, Emily worked both as an investment banker at a top global investment bank and as a teacher at a prestigious private school on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. From these experiences, Emily brings to Stribling a sophisticated understanding of financial analysis and negotiation, and intuitive sensitivity to the needs of her customers.

Respected by her peers and colleagues for her professionalism, work ethic and integrity, Emily is savvy in understanding the intricacies of cooperatives and gets deals done. Her expertise extends to townhouses, condominiums and new developments. Emily works alongside Cornelia Zagat Eland, Senior Executive Vice President for Sales—one of the original brokers who founded Stribling & Associates.

In addition to her work, Emily is committed to supporting New York City-based and regional charitable institutions, including the Frick Collection, the Whitney Museum of American Art and the National Trust for Historic Preservation. She enjoys spending time in Darien, CT (where she grew up), collecting art, playing cello and learning Mandarin Chinese.

Emily Hanna is a graduate of Brown University, where she studied business economics and organizational behavior and management, and was a member of the crew team. She also holds a graduate degree from Fordham University in early childhood education.
