Alexa Lambert - Stribling & Associates

I think of my job more as a service job than a sales job. Buying or selling real estate should be clear, creative and, hopefully, fun.

Experience

Alexa Lambert, Executive Vice President, has been a broker at Stribling & Associates since 1990. She has consistently been one of the firm’s highest producers and is considered one of the top brokers in the city.

Alexa sells some of the most expensive and prestigious properties in Manhattan, but her expertise extends across all neighborhoods and property types, giving her the unique ability to present her clients with specific information as well as accurate, real-time market overviews. Among her recent sales are a $12.5 million Fifth Avenue co-op, a Park Avenue penthouse for $15 million, a penthouse in Tribeca for over $30 million, a condominium on the Upper East Side for over $14 million and a townhouse in Greenwich Village for $8 million. Although she has participated in some of Manhattan’s most expensive sales, Alexa has customers and exclusives in varied price ranges, both uptown and downtown.

While remaining active in the re-sale market, Alexa was responsible for overseeing the Stribling team selling the Private Residences at the Plaza, a project whose total sell out exceeds $1 billion. She personally negotiated the significant deals at the Plaza, including three of the highest dollar deals in the history of Manhattan. The experience at the Plaza has also allowed her to develop personal relationships with brokers in foreign countries and around the United States. While large referral networks can be wonderful, a personal relationship with a top broker in another city is invaluable.

Alexa’s client list includes celebrities and entertainment executives, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, partners from most of the major investment banks, real estate executives and wealthy Europeans. In addition to working with individual buyers and sellers, Alexa has also used the negotiating and marketing skills she first learned at the William Morris Agency to sell several development projects, uptown and downtown. This exposure to overseeing projects has increased Alexa’s expertise in marketing.

The Real Estate Board of New York has recognized Alexa’s excellence as well as her willingness to share her knowledge with other brokers. She has taught 3 sessions of their highest-level class, offered only to top residential brokers in the city.

Alexa grew up in New York City and attended the Spence School and Brown University. She lives on the Upper East Side with her husband and two children.

My Approach

"I believe the job of a broker is to have patience and discipline and a sense of humor. When deals get stressful, as they can, other people have the luxury of losing their temper, but one of the broker's most important jobs is to keep calm and stop things from getting out of hand."
